Next Inning is a game-day fielding rotation tool for youth baseball coaches. This page says what it stores and why. Last updated September 21, 2026.
What we store
About coaches. The email address you sign in with, and, if you use Google sign-in, the name Google shares with us. We use it to know which teams you belong to and to show your fellow coaches who made a change.
About players. As little as the app can work with: a first name and last initial, a jersey number, and the eligibility flags a coach sets (can pitch, can catch, cleared for first base, prefers infield). No birth dates, photos, contact details, or anything else. Eligibility flags are visible only to the team's coaches and league admins.
About games. Attendance, the fielding lineup each inning, pitch counts, hit batters, walks, and who on the staff made each change. This is what the rotation and pitch-count rules are built on.
What we do not do
- No advertising, no tracking across other sites, and no selling or sharing of data with anyone.
- Nothing is public. Every screen needs a signed-in coach on that team or an admin of its league.
- Google sign-in is used only to confirm your email address. We do not read your contacts, calendar, or anything else in your Google account.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in) and served by Vercel, both in the United States. A copy of your team's games is kept on your own phone so the app works with no signal. Basic, anonymous page-view counts come from Vercel Analytics.
Deleting things
A manager can archive or remove players, delete games, and delete the team from the Team tab. A league admin can delete teams and admins from the League page. To delete your account and everything only you can see, email login@diamondmapper.com from the address you sign in with.
